This site is the culmination of many years of research by many of our family members.

The work I am presenting here is that of my mother Pauline Muir and her sister-in-law Diane Smith (deceased).  I remember them spending hours on the computer and travelling to collect data which ultimately went into the book “The Watchman” which was published for the Waite Family Reunion in Stratford 2005.

This is our family history as we know it. This website cannot begin to show you the boxes and boxes of data that has been collected over the years but I personally would not like to see all this work lost.  The books never sold as well as my mother had hoped but I am sure there are families out there who will benefit from the research done in the past.

It was always my mother’s intention to put the information in a website format onto a CD to be sold.  However technology has moved on and CD’s are almost a thing of the past.  I am not looking for monetary gain by creating this site, I just want to share the research and perhaps meet some more of my distant family.
